Hold on to your 3-cornered hats: Over 500 people joined us for our last event at Marquee.  Now we're returning to one of the hottest venues in the country for one of the biggest events of the year!

"Haman's  Hoedown," The 14th Annual Purim Ball is one of our biggest events of the year. In fact, over 10,000 hamantaschen have been consumed in its 14-year history. If we had been serving the super-sized ones at 457 calories each we'd be more evil than Haman and have put more pounds around your midsection than Ray Kroc.

But we're the sweet Jenny Craig of the Jewish Singles world and we only serve (hundreds of) the virtually gulit-free mini-hamantaschen.  With their low calorie count, your self-control, and a night of dancing, you'll be hugging every imaginable curve like the svelte Queen Esther herself.

But there's more to Haman's Hoedown than just carbohydrate-laden treats: 

• We'll have exclusive use of Marquee from 8 pm to 12 am and you can stay all night to enjoy the venue that has acheived a "cult following among celebrities" (AOL CityGuide).
  
• Although entirely optional, costumes are encouraged for this event and will make you the target of guaranteed swooning.  We'll have a $100 prize for best costume. Here's last year's runner-up in the Queen Esther category.  
• In honor of our Queens, admission for women is half-price in advance. 
• We'll have great drink specials (to be announced) and, yes, a veritable feast of mini-hamantaschen.
• Honorary Jew Mike Dominico will get you dancing.
• Hundreds of young, single Jewish professionals (ages 21-39, please) = limitless romancing.
  

"Marquee has been called the Studio 54 of the ’00s, and while Studio 54 may never happen again, this big three-room party is a sight to behold" (Sheckys.com).  Designed by Philip Johnson and Alan Ritchie, Marquee's main room in highlighted by a chandelier of glass beads surrounding a retractable disco ball.  A dramatic staircase ascends to the glassed-in and soundproof VIP Mezzanine level.
